Snowfall Trigger
Standard snow plowing service begins after 2 inches of accumulated snowfall.
Snowfall amounts are determined using local weather reports along with conditions at your property.
If you would like service before the 2-inch trigger, it may be requested for an additional charge.
Snow Placement
If you have a preferred location where you would like your snow piled, please include those instructions in the Notes section when booking your service.
If no instructions are provided, Legacy Lawn & Snow will place snow where our operator determines is the safest and most practical location.
Pricing
Residential Snow Plowing
Starting at $50 per visit
Pricing is based on:
- Driveway size
- Property layout
- Snow depth
- Accessibility
- Number of vehicles the driveway accommodates
Add-On Services
Salt Application
+$25 per application
Each residential salt application includes up to 55 pounds of salt. Additional salt may be applied at an additional cost if requested.
Sidewalk Shoveling
+$35
Commercial pricing, larger residential properties, and custom service plans are available upon request.
Monthly & Seasonal Service
Our residential monthly and seasonal plans are designed for the average 2-6 vehicle driveway.
Large driveways, private roads, apartment buildings, and oversized residential properties require a custom quote.
Monthly Service
Monthly agreements are valid for 30 days and automatically renew unless canceled before the next billing period.
Seasonal Service
Seasonal contracts run from November 1 through April 15, covering Wisconsin’s normal snow season.
If snowfall occurs outside of these dates, service may be provided at the standard per-visit rate unless otherwise agreed upon.
Driveway Marker Requirement
To help prevent property damage and ensure accurate plowing, customers are required to install driveway marker stakes before the first measurable snowfall.
Markers should clearly identify:
- Driveway edges
- Sidewalks
- Curbs
- Retaining walls
- Landscaping beds
- Decorative edging
- Utility boxes
- Mailboxes
- Any other hidden obstacles
Failure to properly mark these areas increases the risk of accidental damage.
Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for:
- Installing driveway markers before the first snowfall.
- Keeping vehicles, trailers, basketball hoops, and other movable objects out of the driveway before scheduled service.
- Providing clear instructions if a specific snow pile location is desired.
- Keeping pets and people away from equipment while snow removal is being performed.
Liability & Property Damage
By scheduling service with Legacy Lawn & Snow, the customer acknowledges and agrees to the following:
- Legacy Lawn & Snow is not responsible for damage to unmarked or hidden objects covered by snow or ice.
- Customers are responsible for marking driveway edges, curbs, landscaping, retaining walls, utility boxes, decorative edging, and any other obstacles before service begins.
- Legacy Lawn & Snow is not responsible for damage caused by concealed hazards, poor visibility, slippery conditions, or objects hidden beneath snow.
- We are not responsible for damage resulting from pre-existing cracks, uneven pavement, raised concrete, deteriorated asphalt, loose gravel, sinking pavement, or underground utilities.
- Minor turf disturbance along driveway edges may occur during winter conditions and is considered a normal part of snow removal.
- Customers agree to hold Legacy Lawn & Snow harmless from claims, damages, or losses resulting from normal snow removal operations performed in a professional manner.
Service Terms

- Legacy Lawn & Snow reserves the right to delay service during extreme weather events when conditions are unsafe. Service will resume as soon as it is safe to do so.
